Marvel Cars has no rental desk at Athens International Airport and no shuttle to a remote car park. We meet your flight, drive you to the car ourselves at no charge, and hand it over at one of three points on the Athens Riviera: Glyfada, Voula or Vouliagmeni. The run in from the terminal is about 35 km and 35 to 40 minutes on Attiki Odos. Send your dates and your flight number and a written offer comes back with every cost in it, including the security deposit, before you confirm anything. The car comes out of the same fleet of 27, whether that is a Mercedes G Wagon 63 AMG for the family or something small for a week of city parking.
You send the dates, the vehicle and your flight number. We send back a written offer with every cost in it. Sending the form does not hold the car; confirming the offer does.
The flight number is what sets the pick-up against your landing time rather than a fixed hour. We meet you at the terminal and drive you to whichever of the three points you chose, Glyfada, Voula or Vouliagmeni. That transfer is free, and it is the same 35 to 40 minutes you would otherwise have driven yourself.
Pick-ups run between 09:00 and 21:00, seven days a week, which is also when the phone and the WhatsApp are answered. Bring the licence, an ID card or passport, and an International Driving Permit if the licence was issued outside the EU. Every named driver has to be 25 or over with a full licence held for three years.
Every rental ends at one of the same three points, and not necessarily the one it started from. Collect in Glyfada and come back to Vouliagmeni if that suits the last morning better. Say which when you ask for the offer and the hour goes in writing with it.
Returns run between 09:00 and 21:00, seven days a week, and the transfer works in this direction too: you hand the car back and we drive you to the terminal, so the last leg is not a taxi you have to find. Leave the margin you would normally leave for check-in and add the 35 to 40 minutes on Attiki Odos.
The tank is the thing to plan for: cars go out full and come back full, and one returned short is charged for the fuel plus a service fee.
An arrival is about luggage first. The Mercedes G Wagon 63 AMG is the one people ask for by name, 583 hp and upright, with the boot to match. The Range Rover Vogue takes the same four people and their cases and does it quietly, on a hybrid petrol drivetrain that suits the motorway run in.
For two, the Porsche Cayenne Coupe E-Hybrid or the smaller Porsche Macan is the easier car to leave in a hotel car park, and the Audi Q8 sits between the two. Every SUV in the fleet is automatic. Today's rates are on the cards below.
VAT, Collision Damage Waiver and third-party liability are inside the daily figure, and nothing is metered by the kilometre. The rate itself falls from the fourth day and again from the eighth.
The one number not printed on a car page is the security deposit, because it changes with the vehicle. It is written into your offer instead. The rental requirements, insurance and handover terms are set out on the FAQ.
Attiki Odos runs west out of the terminal and is a toll motorway. The Vari exit puts you in Voula or Vouliagmeni in roughly 35 to 40 minutes, and Glyfada is a few minutes further along the coast. That is the drive we do with you in the car rather than the one you do alone behind a satnav.
From there the rest of it starts. Cape Sounion and the Temple of Poseidon are about 50 km south of Voula, under an hour with the sea on your right. Nafplio is roughly 140 km the other way, Delphi about 180 km. None of it changes the price, because we charge for time and not for distance.
If a boat comes next rather than a hotel, we collect from the ferry ports on the same terms.

No. We collect you at the terminal and drive you to the handover point at Glyfada, Voula or Vouliagmeni at no charge. The daily rate and the security deposit are the only figures in the offer.
In the arrivals hall, where one of us waits with a board carrying your name. The spot does not change with the hour of your flight. From there it is about 35 km to the handover point at Glyfada, Voula or Vouliagmeni, which takes 35 to 40 minutes by Attiki Odos.
Nothing changes and nothing is added. Give us the flight number when you request the offer and we follow it, so a late landing simply moves the pick-up to the hour the aircraft actually arrives. Every offer states our hours as 09:00 to 21:00, but a handover outside them can be agreed in advance and written into the offer. The one thing we cannot do is arrange a night collection after you have landed.
Yes, and at no charge. Hand the car back at Glyfada, Voula or Vouliagmeni and we run you to the terminal, to a ferry port or to an address in Athens, whichever comes next. Tell us the flight when you request the offer so the hour is set against it.
No. Every rental starts and ends at Glyfada, Voula or Vouliagmeni. The three are interchangeable, so you can collect at one and return at another, but the car is not left at a terminal, a hotel or a port.
A licence issued outside the EU needs an International Driving Permit alongside the original, and an ID card or passport with it. That applies to every named driver on the rental.
We reply with a written offer covering the daily rate, the security deposit and the handover point. Confirming that offer is what holds the car.
